Can I order a fabric sample?
Yes, free fabric samples are available.
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
Does the ottoman bed have a gas lift?
Our ottoman beds use gas struts (pistons) to help lift the base. If the lift sticks, place the mattress on the frame and apply gentle, steady pressure to compress the pistons, and check that the frame is properly aligned.
The pistons can become stuck in the open position because of pressure build-up. With the mattress on the frame, apply gentle, steady pressure to compress the pistons and release them, and check that the frame is properly aligned (misalignment can lock the pistons). If it still doesn't work, send us a short video and we'll help.
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
Does the bed come with a mattress?
Beds are sold without a mattress unless the listing says one is included. Mattresses are an optional add-on you can select on the product page.

Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?
You can return an item within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind, as long as it is unassembled, unused and in its original packaging. Contact us with your order number and photos of the item and boxes, and we'll explain your options: we can arrange a collection, or you can return it yourself by tracked courier. Refunds are issued once the item is back and has been inspected. Collection charges may apply; our team will confirm.
You have 14 days to cancel and must pay the return costs. You can send it back yourself with a tracked courier, or we can collect it: collection costs £33 to £63 for items up to 180kg, plus £0.78 for every kg above 180kg, deducted from your refund. Products sealed for hygiene reasons can't be returned once unsealed, and made-to-order items can't be returned unless faulty. Full details are on our returns and cancellations page.
Do you offer next-day delivery, and what is the order cut-off time?
Yes, on in-stock items, Monday to Friday, to most of the UK. Order before 3pm for delivery the next working day. Items sent from our suppliers, and some postcodes, take longer; the product page shows the expected delivery time.
