Returns & Cancellations

This page supplements the returns and cancellation information in our Customer Terms and Conditions.

We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchases from Bedkingdom.co.uk. However, we accept there may be occasions where you need to return a product.

Cancellations

You have a 14 day right to cancel, see You have a legal right to change your mind if you are a consumer and bought the product from our website (NB you are required to pay the costs of return).

This section applies whether you have already received the product or not.

How to cancel

To cancel, either complete our optional cancellations form below or email us at [email protected]. You could also use the model cancellation form if you wish

If you have changed your mind and wish to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period please note our Returns Policy. The following procedure will apply:

  • 1. Inform us of the return in one of the ways described in How to cancel;
  • 2. We will ask you to send photographs of the product to show that the product was not damaged before transit;
  • 3. You will then receive a confirmation response within 2 working days;
  • 4. If the product hasn’t already been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming the balance to be refunded;
  • 5. If the product has been dispatched and/or delivered, we will require you to return the product to us at your own cost (see Collection below);
  • 6. Once the product(s) are back in our possession, they will be inspected;
  • 7. If any deductions are going to be made from the refund, we will inform you by email setting out the deductions (see Returns Policy);
  • 8. The refund amount due will be issued;
  • 9. The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase or where applicable, to the finance provider;
  • 10. Your refund will take up to 14 days to process, subject to your card type. If you have entered into a finance agreement, we can process the refund by day 14 but the funds may not be received by you within this timeframe (this is outside of our control). You will need to update the finance provider (such as Klarna or Clearpay) and check with them when you will receive a refund of any amounts paid.

Returns Policy

Please note that you can't change your mind about an order for products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, once these have been unsealed after you receive them.

Further, it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the product while it’s in your possession. If you handle the product in a way which would not be acceptable in-store we reduce your refund, to compensate us for its reduced value. For example, we reduce your refund if the product's condition is not "as new", the product-branded packaging is damaged, you’ve eaten or slept on it, accessories are missing or the product has been partially or fully built. In some cases, because of the way you have treated the product, no refund may be due.

We will also reduce your refund if you fail to properly package the product to protect it from damage on its return to us and the product is damaged on receipt.

Please note that you will be required to pay the cost of returning the product to us – see You have to return the product at your own cost.

Our Customer Service Team, which can be contacted via our Contact Us page, can advise you on whether we're likely to reduce your refund.

Collection

To return the product to us, either:

  • send the product back to us, using an established delivery service. If you do this you should keep a receipt or other evidence from the delivery service that proves you have sent it and when you sent it. If you don’t do this and we don’t receive the goods at all or within a reasonable time we won't refund you the price.
  • request that we collect the product at your cost. Just email or call us (see Contact Us) and we will agree a convenient time with you to collect the product. The cost of the collection will depend on the weight of the item. The cost ranges from £33.00 up to £63.00 for products weighing 180kg. Products over 180kg will be subject to an additional £0.78 for every kg above 180kg. Please note that if you are not available on the collection date, we will have to charge you for the collection attempt and if you still want us to collect the product we will have to charge you for the rescheduled collection. These amounts will be deducted from your refund.

Please package up the product securely to protect it from any damage in transit otherwise we reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the damage to the product.

How to return defective products or products that are not as described

Please note the right to return the product does not apply to defects or damage caused by you.

How to start a return

To return a product because it is defective or not as described, please either use the Returns Form below or, email us at [email protected] providing photographs or a video of the issue.

Returns procedure

The following procedure will apply:

  • 1. If you can see the product is defective or not as described, do not assemble or use it;
  • 2. Inform us of issue as soon as possible in one of the ways described in How to start a return;
  • 3. Include photographs or a video clearly showing the issue with the product;
  • 4. We will then be in touch to offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Customer Terms and Conditions;
