This bed is let down by the fact that the promo pictures have been 'manipulated' to not show the numerous exposed bolt heads. Take the promo picture of the bed and there is no sign of the TEN silver bolts you'll see just on the left hand side alone. Also there are many other countersunk holes for which you are provided stickers to place over to hide the bolt heads. It's a real shame that they felt the need for this deception.

We got this kids house bed, and it’s awesome! It looks super cute and gives the room a fun vibe. The wood is solid, and it feels really safe. Putting it together was easy too. My kid loves having their own little house to sleep in and play in. Definitely recommend it if you want something cute and practical!

is the paint used water or oil based?
The board is not painted; it is foil-laminated, so no water- or oil-based paint is used.
What trundle mattress depth?
Up to 15cm.
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
What size mattress fits the trundle, and does the trundle come out separately?
Trundle mattress size and depth vary by bed; check the product page. Some trundles stay at floor level and don't rise to make a larger bed, so check the description, or ask us about the specific bed.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
Can I return an item if I change my mind, and how?
You can return an item within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind, as long as it is unassembled, unused and in its original packaging. Contact us with your order number and photos of the item and boxes, and we'll explain your options: we can arrange a collection, or you can return it yourself by tracked courier. Refunds are issued once the item is back and has been inspected. Collection charges may apply; our team will confirm.
You have 14 days to cancel and must pay the return costs. You can send it back yourself with a tracked courier, or we can collect it: collection costs £33 to £63 for items up to 180kg, plus £0.78 for every kg above 180kg, deducted from your refund. Products sealed for hygiene reasons can't be returned once unsealed, and made-to-order items can't be returned unless faulty. Full details are on our returns and cancellations page.
Do you offer next-day delivery, and what is the order cut-off time?
Yes, on in-stock items, Monday to Friday, to most of the UK. Order before 3pm for delivery the next working day. Items sent from our suppliers, and some postcodes, take longer; the product page shows the expected delivery time.
