The Dorel Single Midsleeper Bed is the perfect space-saving solution for your child's room.
This bed is versatile and multifunctional, with an underbed area that can create a play or study space for your child.
The frame is constructed from sturdy metal with a robust metal tubular slatted base providing a strong and stable sleeping platform. The ladder is slanted to ensure safe and easy access to and from the sleeping area.
The Midsleeper comes in three powder-coated finishes, black, white or silver/grey, neutral colour options that will work well in any design scheme.
Also included are two wall brackets for added safety and plastic feet for secure footing.

Really good quality bed ....sturdy enough for teens I'd say.... I cut 2 legs off to sit on box in box room ..... details actually tell you in description what clearance height is for furniture etc to go underneath...very happy....only con is ladder can't be switched but because the bars of the base sit in the middle of the sides it made no difference.... just flipped the base over....I just couldn't put one of the bolts in the head frame but doesn't affect use...would buy again

Amazing bed, so easy to assemble, managed on my own. Great value, looks really good too. Would defiantly recommend this bed.

Can the ladder be put on left hand side instead of right in picture
I'm afraid the ladder for the Dorel Metal Midsleeper is not reversible.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
