Are Trasman Loft Pod gaming beds worth it?
Published
Short answer: Trasman Loft Pods are high sleeper gaming beds with features like a desk, wardrobe, chair or sofa underneath. Check the dimensions and specs on each product page.
Trasman's Loft Pods are among the most feature-packed gaming beds.
Making a gaming setup work in a small room
In a small bedroom, going up is usually the answer. A high sleeper with a desk underneath stacks the sleeping and playing areas into one footprint, while a cabin or mid-height bed can add storage. If the ceiling is too low for a high sleeper, a single bed with a built-in end desk or a compact desk against the wall keeps floor space clear. Wall-mounted shelves and under-bed drawers stop the room filling up with boxes of games and accessories.
Storage that suits a gaming room
Gaming kit is small, numerous and easy to lose. Drawers under the bed suit spare bedding and games you are not playing right now; open shelves near the desk suit controllers and headsets you reach for daily; and a wardrobe built into a high sleeper can free up wall space elsewhere. Look at the storage line on each product page to see exactly what is included, and plan where chargers will live so cables are not stretched across the room.
Check the ceiling height for high sleepers
A high sleeper puts the mattress well above the floor, so the gap between the top of the mattress and the ceiling matters as much as floor space. Measure from floor to ceiling at the point where the bed will go, especially in loft rooms or under a sloping roof, and compare it with the bed height on the product page plus the depth of the mattress you plan to use. The sleeper should be able to sit up without hitting their head, and a light fitting directly above the bed can get in the way.
