Description
Calling all gamers!
Do you have a child or teen that loves playing online games? Why not introduce them to the Recoil Shuttle High Sleeper in black and red? The sleek and stylish colour scheme is sure to be a smash hit for any serious gamer as the whole frame has been intricately designed to fit the needs by including a desk area that can be placed lower for a more laid-back gaming experience, or can be placed at its normal height for more intense gaming sessions! Available in a Single or Small Double option
Built from thick wooden particleboard that is resistant to scuffs and marks, the Shuttle can easily be constructed with the ladder going on either the left or the right side depending on your room space.
Included is a colourful RBG LED large desk area that supports a TV/Monitor, large under bed space for a chair or beanbag, 2 large pullout storage drawers to store clothes or electronics, a hanging clothes rail, a wide hydraulic-hinged storage box up top and also a large comprehensive step easily to climb the ladder that leads to the sleeping area above.
A 32-inch TV is best matched with the Single option, and up to a 50-inch TV is best for the Small Double.
The cosy sleeping area includes a choice of either a single bed or a small double bed depending on your child's needs and we recommend no more than a 16cm thick Mattress for this product due to safety reasons.

Very good value

The bed is lovely! Perfect for my son! Lots of room underneath to add a sofa bed at a later date! Stairs are safe! It is very near the ceiling but there is room atm for my son to sit up but as he gets older this will be a little tricky but still ok as my husband has got on and off of it!

Nice beds but not very sturdy

My son loves this and finds it easier than plugging in a charger to charge his phone.

Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the bedkingdom team.
is the ladder fitment revisable? Many thanks
Yes, the ladder is reversible for the Recoil Shuttle High Sleeper Single Black.
Will the desk be wide enough for two monitors?
The desk is only wide enough for one monitor up to 34 inches
Can the 2 bottom drawers be reversed so that they pull out in the space inside the bed?
Unfortunately, the drawers cannot be reversed due to the solid panel on the other side. Due to the positioning of the screws, this also cannot be reversed.
What size TV fits the single?
A 32-inch TV is best matched.
What mattress depth can I use?
No more than 16cm.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
