Can the divider on the Recoil Dante be removed?
We don't recommend it. The divider on the upper level helps secure and stabilise the bed, so it should be assembled with the rest of the bed.
Can the Recoil Dante Twin sleep two children?
Yes. It has two sleeping spaces. Please note that high beds aren't suitable for children under 6, because of the risk of falls.
What mattress depth?
16cm recommended.
Could this be used as a double bed or king instead of two singles?
This highsleeper only comes in one size, requires x2 UK Single size mattress 90x190cm. Unfortunately, this cannot be modified to a double size bed. The divider cannot be removed. It can only be assembled as depicted in our website. We appreciate your understanding.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
What is the weight limit of this bed?
Each bed's weight limit is listed on the product page and includes the weight of the mattress. For bunk beds, the limit is per bunk. Please don't exceed the stated limit.
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
