Our kid has a very small room and we needed a solution. We looked for something to solve this problem and came across Noomi Tera high sleeper. To put it together took couple of hours. One thing we didn't check was how close to the ceiling it will be, so we had to take off the lamp and we still need to solve the lighting issue as it is quite dark without a proper lamp. However our kid is over the moon and has plenty of space underneath. I was sceptical about the quality but it looks and feels sturdy. Worth the money! P. S. one screw was missing for the ladder, but we found a spare one at home, so not a big deal.

My son loves this combo, and this has the largest desk by far when compared to other bed/desk combos we looked at in other places. It really is a solid unit when built, taking us roughly 6 hours to do so. The instructions are easy enough to follow but can only be obtained through a QR code. This has been a great investment for us and one I recommend. If it helps anyone reading this, my son is 13, 5ft 3 and weighs around 50kgs. The bed creaks a little as he moves around but as the manufacturers say it can take a lot more, we're not worried about the creaks.

Questions & Answers (8)
Answers from the bedkingdom team.
What is the maximum weight limit?
The Noomi Tera Solid Wood Gaming Highsleeper is tested to take up to 12 stone.
Can this bed be used with a UK single mattress
The Noomi Tera Solid Wood Gaming Highsleeper takes a Single Continental: 3'0", 90x198cm size mattress.
Can the ladder be put on the opposite side
Yes, the ladder is reversible for the Noomi Tera Solid Wood Gaming Highsleeper.
Can the ladder/stairs/chaise be fitted on either side (left or right)?
Most of our bunk beds, high sleepers, mid sleepers and cabin beds are not reversible; they can only be assembled as shown in the product photos. A few models have reversible ladders or drawers, so ask us about the specific bed and we'll check.
What age is this bunk bed / high sleeper suitable for?
The top bunk of a bunk bed or high sleeper isn't suitable for children under 6 because of the risk of falls. Older children, teenagers and adults can use them as long as they are within the stated weight limit (including the mattress).
Can the bunk bed be split into two single beds?
Only beds described as 'detachable' can be separated into individual beds. Other bunk and triple beds can't be split.
How thick a mattress can I use / what mattress depth is recommended?
It depends on the bed; the recommended maximum mattress depth is given on the product page. For bunk beds, mid sleepers and high sleepers it is usually around 15-16 cm, so the safety rails stay effective.
What size mattress do I need for this bed, and is it a standard UK size?
Each bed's product page states the mattress size it needs. Most of our beds take standard UK sizes (e.g. Single 90 x 190 cm, Small Double 120 x 190 cm), but some take continental sizes (e.g. 90 x 200 cm), so please check before ordering. Mattresses offered in a bed's mattress dropdown are suitable for that bed.
